Creator. Writer. Storyteller.

Hi! I’m Porsha.

It’s a pleasure to meet you! Thanks for stopping by.

I’m a Philadelphia-based storyteller across genres and mediums who focuses on diverse and empowered characters because everyone should be able to see themselves in books and on screen.

I believe in the power of handwritten letters, practicing kindness and gratitude with the hope of bringing more light into the world. I’m also an award-winning baker who loves to read, watch copious amounts of television and film, share my life lessons with others if requested, find the perfect gift to celebrate special occasions, and engage in other creative passions, such as painting, journaling, visual design, and authoring children books for my toddler son.

I love to represent my native Detroit, travel, volunteer in my community, and be inspired by nature, music, and the daily shenanigans of my family.

I have a Master of Fine Arts in Professional Screenwriting from National University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida A & M University.
